Southwell Ramblers walks programme is published twice a year and runs for six months. There is a walk on alternate Sundays throughout the year in Nottinghamshire or the adjoining counties, and in the intervening weeks there is a mid-week walk. The length of walks usually range between four to eight miles. Most walks are "Leisurely" or "Moderate", with just a few categorised as "Strenuous".
In June, July and August there is a short local walk of around four miles on some Friday evenings. These walks usually finish at a local pub for a sociable drink.
In the interests of safety the Group does not allow dogs on any walks, except assistance dogs.
